I know of women in very loving, compatible relationships with disappointing sex lives, and I just don’t know how that can be! Then I’ve learned a little more about their habits and lifestyles and seen how it is almost impossible for them to be in the mood for sex like that. Even if you’re madly in love with your partner, certain habits can crush your sexual appetite and some can spur it. Here are 8 habits of a woman with a healthy sexual appetite.

THEY EAT LIGHT DINNERS

If huge dinners are kind of your thing, then you need to have sex before dinner! But if possible, avoid things like dairy and red meat during the meal. These are notorious for causing indigestion. Nobody can get in doggy style if they’re worried about letting one rip.

All my friends with healthy sexual appetites (including myself!) walk around their homes naked when they can. There could be a lot of reasons this is effective: you catch your naked reflection a lot, which gets you thinking about sex, plus it makes you very comfortable with your body. If you’re not comfortable being a total nudist, at least start by walking around in your underwear. My partner loves when I wear one of his t-shirts and nothing else under, with my butt cheeks peeking out. At the very least, sleep naked. Seeing your own sexy parts regularly starts making you think about your partner seeing them, and then you start fantasizing. By the time he is home, you’re ready to go.
