Award-winning director and screenwriter Ava DuVernay is one of eight incredibly talented women to grace the cover of ELLE magazine’s annual “Women in Hollywood” issue.
Inside, the 43-year-old power player discusses the process of creating the compelling historical drama Selma, as well as her stirring documentary Venus Vs. about seven-time Grand Slam tennis champion Venus Williams.
