It looks like Drake and Tyga’s beef is back to sizzling after seemingly simmering down.
If you’ll recall, Tyga went for broke last October and dissed his Young Money-mate Drake in a Vibe magazine interview where he said he doesn’t rock with Drizzy like that because he’s “fake.” It all lead to petty social media stunts like Drake liking Blac Chyna’s pics on Instagram, and Tyga snagging one of Drake’s exes to star in his music video, then it pretty much died down.
That was until Drake got it poppin’ again last night.
The Toronto native pulled a Beyonce, and dropped his surprise If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late mixtape that features a song called, “6PM in New York.” Heard on the track is a couple of lines aimed directly at Tyga where Drake advises him to quit acting his girl Kylie Jenner’s age — 17. Ouch!
I heard a lil lil homie talking reckless in Vibe
Quite a platform you chose, you shoulda kept it inside
Oh you tried, it’s so childish calling my name on the world stage
You need to act your age and not your girl’s age
And you know it didn’t take long for Tyga to clapback.
The “Ayo” rapper tweeted and deleted:
@Drake u still a b-tch. All that sneak dissing is weak. Just pull up. I know where u live and u know my address.. U been ducking the fade from Brown.
It’s unknown whether or not Tyga deleted his tweet because Chris told him to chill out [they’re currently on tour together, and trust Chris doesn’t need anymore drama] or he deleted it on his own accord when he realized he was proving Drake right.
What we do know though is this is all just toooo much!
